藤袴のかほり

藤袴はキク科の多年生植物で日本では秋の七草の1つとされています。秋の七草といってもわかる人は殆どいないと思いますので萩、尾花（ススキ）、葛、撫子、女郎花、藤袴、桔梗です。
私も藤袴は植物園でしかみたことがなかったのですが、京都市内では路傍に咲いています。
この花は画像でみるとわかりませんがいい香りがします。この時期は夏も終わって紅葉も始まっておらずにオフシーズンのような感じがしますが、季節の草花をみながら散策するのにはいい日和となっています。

Fragrance of the Thoroughwort

The Thoroughwort is considered to be one of the seven flowers of autumn with a perennial plant of the Compositae in Japan. Because I think that there are few people who know the seven flowers of autumn, it is a bush clover, Japanese pampas grass, kudzu, pink, golden lace, thoroughwort and bellflower.
I had watched the thoroughwort only in a botanical garden. Surprisingly, I found on the roadside in Kyoto-City.
You can’t understand from the image what this flower has nice fragrance. It is offseason of sightseeing in mid-autumn, but it is nice temperature for walking stroll in Kyoto.
