住吉大社 宝之市神事
2017年（平成29年）10月17日は大阪府大阪市住吉区の住吉大社「宝之市神事｣の撮影に伺いました。
所在地は南海電車 住吉大社駅から徒歩５分程度の場所です。
住吉大社は古来 摂津国 (せっつのくに＝大阪府北西部と兵庫県南東部を占める旧国名) の中でも、由緒が深く、信仰が篤い神社として、「一の宮」という社格で人々に親しまれてきたそうです。
住吉大社といえば大阪で最も人出がある初詣先で、全国的にみてもトップ１０に入る人気です。
公式ホームページによれば～（以下転載）御田で刈り取りのお祭りを行い、引き続き本宮にて刈り取った初穂と五穀を神前にお供えする神事です。相撲大会には近畿の強豪が集まり、熱戦が繰り広げられます。「宝之市」とは、文字通り、神の御恵みによって得られた「お宝」を指します。つまり稲作りに励んだ結果できたお米をはじめとするさまざまな生産物を神にお供えし、その残りを庶民で分け合うというお祭りを、具現化したものです。
着飾った市女 （いちめ） 5人が五穀を入れた升を神前にお供えします。大阪商業の発祥であるともいえます。また、升 (ます) が売られていたことにより、升の市とも呼ばれるようになりました。～とあります。
住吉大社 所蔵の2種類の絵画 官幣大社住吉神社宝之市御神事行列の図 明治31年（1898年）、住吉大社年中行事六祭之図 大正15年（1926年）福井金穂でみるとかなり大規模な祭礼であったことがわかります。

Shinto ritual of the staple grains harvest in Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine
I had visited to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka-City Sumiyoshi Ward to shoot the "Takara no Ichi Ritual (=Shinto ritual of the staple grains harvest)" at October 17 2017.
There is located about 5 minutes' walk from Sumiyoshi-Taisha station of Nankai train.
Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine has been most popular to people and called "Ichinomiya of Settsu". They say "Settsu" in ancient that is the old country which accounts for northwest of Osaka Prefecture and southeastern of Hyogo Prefecture.
Sumiyoshi-Taisha shrine is a popular of the top 10 of the New Year's visit to a shrine of Japan.
From the official homepage, the outline of that ritual is that at first they cut down in the "Onda" Holy rice field, and second they offer to Shinto God the first harvest of the season and the five staple grains at the main shrine. They think that the crop as a treasure given from Shinto God. This ritual is that shares the first harvest of the season and the five staple grains with the common people from Shinto God. At the ritual of main shrine, five women in a traditional dress dedicate the five staple grains in the "Masu" wooden measure. At same day, they sell a "Masu" wooden measure in other place, so that they call "Masu no Ichi" the market of the wooden measure.
From two kinds of pictures of the Meiji, Taisho era of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, I have seen that this ritual was a large, grand festival, I hope that it is restored in an original in the future.
