雪の鞍馬山
鞍馬山は、Wikipediaによれば（以下転載）～鞍馬山は、京都府京都市左京区にある山である。標高584m～（中略）～宝亀元年（770年）には、鞍馬山の南中腹に毘沙門天を本尊とした鞍馬寺が創建された。また、牛若丸（後の源義経）の修行の地であり、「鞍馬天狗」で知られている。～（以下略）とあります。
叡山電車 鞍馬駅から徒歩3分で山門から5分で由岐神社から20分で本殿、本殿から奥の院、西門まではそれぞれ30分程度かかります。西門を過ぎると貴船神社に到着します。過去にこの逆コースを歩いた経験がありますが、とても急な登りが連続するため健脚の方でなければお勧めしません。
京都市内であり、公共交通機関もあってとても簡単に行ける鞍馬山ですが、本殿を過ぎると本格的な登山道となるため装備が必要です。特に、登山用の靴と飲み物がない方は危険を伴うのでやめた方が賢明です。
私はこの立地条件を活かして雪山の撮影に数回訪れています。この場合は雪山用の装備が必要となります。深いところでは30～40cm程度の積雪があります。降雪時に入山すると本殿まで来ている人も数名で、更に超えて西門まで行く方は1～2名程度です。
京都市内はあまり雪が降らない、積もらない場所です。雪も大抵は1月までで2月に入ると既に梅の開花が始まります。そのした理由から京都市内で雪がみられる場所は貴重です。
今年は寒く日本海側では既に雪が積もっているようなので、京都市内に雪が降る天気予報があれば貴重な京都市内の雪景色を探しに鞍馬山に行ってみるのはいかがでしょうか？

From the Wikipedia, the Kurama Mountain is in Sakyo-ward Kyoto-city, 584m above sea level. The temple which assumed the "Bishamonten" god of Buddhism was founded on the south of the mountain. Ushiwaka-maru (Yoshitsune Minamoto) trained itself in here. And we know the name "Kurama Tengu". It takes about 3 min from the Kurama station by Eizan train to San-mon. And it takes about 5 min to Yuki-jinjya shrine, 20 min to Main temple, 30 min to Okunoin, 30 min to Nishi-mon, and then you arrive at Kifune-jinjya shrine. I went reverse this route in the past, because that is very hard, you should not go. After the Main temple, it is changing to a mountain trail, so you need a mountaineering boots and the others. Furthermore, you need the snowy mountains equipment in the winter season, because there is the snow from 30 to 40 centimeters.
The center of Kyoto city is the place where it is not often the snow fall and it cannot be snow piled up, so that is precious place.
