初秋の大河内山荘
大河内山荘は京都市右京区嵯峨小倉山にある日本庭園であり時代劇などで知られる俳優大河内傳次郎が別荘として造営した回遊式庭園です。
大河内傳次郎（1898年-1962年）は日本の映画俳優で戦前を代表する時代劇スターの一人です。
私は直接出演作品をみたことはありませんが、当たり役の丹下作善は様々なメディアを通じて紹介されているので知識として知っています。
戦前の「映画スター」という人の収入は今からは考えられない程の金額であったときいています。その多額の出演料をつぎ込んで30年かけて造営したものだそうです。
寺院の日本庭園ではありませんが、とても広大で素晴らしいです。この場所は神社仏閣ではないためあまり知られておらず、有名な竹林の道周辺にもかかわらず訪れる人は少なめです。その上に広大な庭園は「山荘」の名に相応しく野趣溢れる状態であるため全てを回遊している人は稀です。
この場所は嵯峨野・嵐山の中でも少し早めに紅葉する場所でもあるのでそうした意味でもお勧めの場所です。

Okochi Sanso Villa had been established by Okochi Denjiro (1898 -1962) who was one of the movie stars representing before WWII in Japan. I had not watched his appearance movie, but have looked by an introduction program of the some media.
That has the go round style in landscape Japanese garden and that is very large. It is located near by a famous tourism spot "Bamboo Path", but is not so famous because it is not a historic Shinto shrine or Buddhist temple.
I think that is a recommended place, because tree leaves change into the autumn colors early in Sagano and Arashiyama district, Kyoto.
